It’s a tragic that the swine flu spread far and wide, some even died from it.
I am not going to be politically correct like local authority calling it A-H1N1.
Anyway, while I was visiting my in law’s place, my brother in law told me this story. His boss was away on oversea trip, the day he came back from Australia, he marched straight into office.
Somehow the topic of swine flu cropped up due to the number of patient flying out of Australia. The boss proudly said,
No worry, I have taken panadol (paracetamol) all the way, and even if I have the flu, the airport screener will not be able to detect it !
Haloooooo ! What kind shit people is that ?
It’s people like that helping the flu spread. I will not be surprise if the flu virus continue to spread and there is no way to put a stop to it like SARS as long as we have people like that.

I am surprise that people are making such a big deal out of swine flu. I mean the rate of fatality is actually about the same as that of the normal flu.

Not so much of big deal, but the economic impact of it is big, like health care bill, work days lost, retail sales drop due to fewer people want to come out. All these affect the livelihood of many people. In order to prevent the spread, strong sense of awareness is definitely needed…
Even to the extent of overkill.

Haha, you are right on. I am not arguing with them. Just that, we need to be a responsible person, if we have it, try not to spread them around.
I have some virus inside my body, whenever I go for blood test, I always remind the phlebotomist that I have the virus inside me.
Once, one of them told me ,”I know how to do my job and we always take proper precaution”
My reply, “Ya I know, just that in case of accident puncture to yourself, you know what are you up to, and when I remind you, I hope you take extra care”
The lady, paused for a while, smiled back and said “Thank you”
That is the kind of thing, what I mean by responsible.
