As election fever heats up, you will see tons of goodies poured in to create the perception of progress. Read this news, RM78 millions it says and suppose to create 500 jobs.

Anyway, this is how is going to happen in Bolehland (Peace be upon MGG Pillai)

• There will be site identified for that purpose. It will be in the middle of no where.
• The site normally belongs to some normal folks.
• But the government will acquire the land. Some company will be formed , JKR type (Jaya Kaya Raya type¹). They will buy the land in hectors or acres at dirt cheap price and then re-sell the land the government in sqft. Yes, price will be greatly inflated.
• Once the site is identified, there be a 6 lanes road leading to the site. Trees will be fell to make the road, timber will be carted out.
• Again money will be paid to the JKR type company to clear the forest. The JKR type company will take the money from the government and sell the timber at the same time to even make more money.
• The site will be cleared off much bigger than expected, so that more tree will be chopped and timber can be sold for money.
• At the mean time, some ministry will identify some “cream¹” of the experts in the field. They will be send off to oversea for training, again, the whole kampung will be sent to UK or US or Aus. Full expense paid for study trip for 2 years.
• Along the time, more oversea fact finding mission will be conducted with shopping, sightseeing trip, belly dance performance as key itinerary .
• The construction of building again will be negotiated out of the backdoor. Without proper open tender. Price again will be inflated to allow more rent seeking activities in between.
• Because more sub-sub-sub-contracting works that went without tender, all you get now is sub quality design that cannot even be inhabited (burst-pipe-leads-to-flooded-health-clinic-samy.pdf).
• At the end, the project will be abandoned. Or hopefully , not collapsed all together. Like this one (second-building-faces-collapse.pdf).
• Public work minister will be screaming with shock all over newspapers and wants answer. But no one to provide.
• ACA ³ will be investigating .
• The Experts² comes home to Bolehland after all expense paid trip exhausted the funding.
• Another Election coming. The “Expert” will be a candidate in the election.
• Story closed.

Any Research and Development center can be housed somewhere far away, perhaps in some existing site no longer in use . All you need is just small building with little road leading to it near the forest area. Those scientists can take shower and make some quick overnight trip when collecting wild samples.

A Bio-diversity research center is not your average factory with 500 workers churning products 24 hours and 3 shifts daily. I’d wish that is the case. It has probably 20-30 staffs only and any office lot can house them easily.

Nepotism

When I wrote here about students uprising and why it does not jive well with those in power and there is even a “Spy” ministry of higher education that monitors their activities.

All those futile efforts were actually trying to curb new comers from joining the political rank and lucrative biz of looting the citizens , basically telling the students to be quiet and be a good Tax paying slave down there,,

In Bolehland (Peace be upon MGG Pillai), nepotism is something it never quite get over, and at its worst state. Opposition and Government alike. Those in power will do anything to stop students from being in politics.

Freedom

I was reading this two wikipedia with great interest. Reason being, it talks about two of the greatest partnership ever in the company that brought best return to its shareholder. The company is Berkshire Hathaway, and the two dynamite duo are none other than Charlie Munger and Warren Buffett.

Of course inside the wiki, more were mentioned about their glorious past and successes in out pacing the stock market . But what caught my eye most is Charlie is a Republican supporter and Warren is an avid Democrats supporter.

Such thing are probably unheard of in Bolehland (Peace be upon MGG Pillai).

Now, to the question about the major difference between west and Bolehland (Peace be upon MGG Pillai) . If you work for company that is GLC, you must be almost exclusively supporter of the NC(National Coalition) only. No way you can be allowed to support opposition. Or if you happen to be one a CEO of the company listed in Bursa Malaysia that is high flier , you must be seen rubbing shoulder with politicians in power.

Once someone told me this story, the politburo in power very much like to install their people inside (/infiltrate) private companies. It keeps in check the profitable entities do not fall into hands of opposition, or its people do not support too much of opposition. If found, they can be “harassed”. So I asked, what kind thing likely to happen ? Well, you will find that to apply for things through politburo will be harder than doing brain surgery , the politburo will make it very hard for you to do business.

“Wau !” I said. Sad but true. On the opposite, if you mixed well with them, many things can be expedited with connection. Even for non-Bumi company, the HR is always of certain race.

Anyway, back sometime ago, I read in this statement by politburo “Civil servant should not be supporting opposition”. Now I know why the rationale and how it coincides with action of civil servants blatantly asking for bribes under broad daylight. Because they felt if they toed the line and just blindly support the current elected power when comes to election, they can always got away with any crime committed and do anything to ensure status quo. Also, that explained why they are afraid to change, because if opposition comes into power ,their wrongdoings are likely to be exposed by those knew of their past by those supported opposition.

For that reason, no way in Bolehland you get to have top staff in a company having different political support. One will sure tried to kick out another.

Rights

When Some folks in the Bolehland (Peace be upon MGG Pillai) politburo accused Chinese of monopolizing the country economy, I thought to myself. What is “the monopoly” means ? If they paid more tax in which case Chinese knew all along, of cause stand to have more rights to demand, it is natural these day in modern society. Even though their social rights to many are all along stifled by the NEP.

Just like you pay lots of money to get a Benz , they gave a tin can with subatomic particle name and said that you should be thankful for that !!!

When one pay a visit to a shop to buy a TV, it is always the person paying the money reserved most rights with respect to the trade, bargaining for lower price, free gifts , warranties and etc . A person that worked hard for his money, wanted to buy a TV and he has all rights to almost everything in that trade. Any third person cannot say that why only the buyer monopolized all the deal , because he worked hard to earn the money, now he wants the best deal he can get.

I read the article with rather funny feeling. What do they really want ? Is my question.

As of this article being written, this country is already being run like Cult ruled country where you have so many Taliban lookalike people going around snatching dead bodies. You also have Syariah court to decide to steal away Dhimmi’s hard earned money by simply declare dead people converted so that they can safely take away their estate and inheritance.

That coalition leader John Doe in question, again played “divert” by saying that “certain quarters” are trying to stirred up the sentiments and tension. The true fact is, people just do not feel good handing over their hard earned freedom and decision concerning their own life and death. People are concerned about Thugs that are Taliban lookalike ruled their society with violence and force.

An old unused Apartheid policy is already in place to discriminate Non believer in almost every sector of life, what more do they want ? There are almost one mosque or surau around every corner of the street, even outnumbered public toilet available, they blasted their speaker 5 times everyday without apologizing if it disturbed the young or old and sick ones.

Those in politburo tends to use religion as fire to fend sentiments, but they do not know what they are playing into. Probably the last thing that went through the mind of Benezhir Bhutto was, how on earth that trick she used in Kashmir , ended up burning her own head. Though she tried hard to come back to undo it, the effort ended up costing her own life.

Having religion that one cannot question its value and practice is very dangerous. It leads to irrational things being forced implemented onto rational being like us. Look at this one, a discriminative practice that is almost becoming acceptable culture.

But by some religious edict, is considered dirty to even be close to it. But their own kind use dog for more sinister act. Dog fighting ! Yes, and I bet you that they are betting big time while the dogs tried to kill each other. These are the very people claiming to have great religion that followed the holy book word by word. Worst still , the religion also advocate absolute submissive behavior, that would mean one need to feel thankful all the time because being told to do stupid things to him/herself and nothing will ever go wrong, but heaven will be waiting.

Simple, if you want your own right ,role and trustworthiness in society, you have to earn it with hard works and not using some middle ages religious edict to justify it.

Even the dogs knew that.
